SCD Database

The Spinal Cord Disease Database is a registry of former NRH inpatients who have a disease or disorder effecting their spinal cord. Examples include Multiple Sclerosis, Stenosis, Transverse Myelitis and Cancer affecting the spine.  Data abstracted from inpatient charts includes demographic information and data tracking the comprehensive progress from admission to discharge as well as including medical history of commodities.  The available data include ASIA exams, FIM scores, level of education, employment status, family medical history, skin breakdown, living situation, marital status, type of insurance and discharge equipment and therapy.  The SCD database is now a part of the Advanced Recovery Registry (ARR) which is combined registry of admitted Brain Injury, Stroke, SCD, Cardiac and Orthopedic patients.
